How do I enroll?

Different tribes have different enrollment requirements. A common requirement is that you are a direct descendant of a tribal member.

If you know what tribe you are qualified to enroll in, look at that tribe’s enrollment forms or contact them to find out their enrollment process.

If you don’t know which tribe you are looking for, start by making a family tree and tracing your ancestry until you find out who was a tribal member.

How do I make a family tree?

Start with yourself and your parents, and fill out any information you know about your family. Ask older family members if you can. The Midwest Genealogy Center is a library that can assist you.
