Support the KCIC!
Our programs and services are made possible through grants, community partnerships, volunteers, and the generosity of people like you. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, donations to the Kansas City Indian Center are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
There are several ways you can support KCIC: through monetary donations, in-kind donations, or volunteering your time.
Monetary Donations
Your financial contribution directly supports programs and services that benefit our community. Donations help KCIC:
- Provide supplies for Community Night
- Support supplies and activities for our Annual Youth Culture Camp
- Provide scholarships to help families with Youth Culture Camp fees
- Keep our food pantry stocked with essential food items
- Support the Kansas City Indian Center's ongoing community programs and services
Every donation makes a difference. Whether you give $10, $50, or more, your contribution helps us continue providing resources and opportunities to our community.
In-Kind Donations
KCIC also welcomes in-kind donations of new and unopened items that can be used to support individuals and families in our community.
Acceptable Donations
- We gladly accept:
- Nonperishable foods
- Unopened food items
- New and unused hygiene products
- New and unused household items
Items We Cannot Accept
For the health and safety of our community, we are unable to accept:
- Opened food items
- Used household items
- Used hygiene products

Volunteer With KCIC
Giving your time is another meaningful way to support the Kansas City Indian Center. KCIC offers a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
Harvesters Food Truck Unload
Second Tuesday of every month
Volunteers help unload the Harvesters food truck and organize food donations to help keep the KCIC food pantry stocked for community members in need.
